Here are some instructions and helpful tips for making a post on this site:

Initiating a post:
To make a post, click on the “+ New” icon on the top of the site homepage (or alternatively, you can select Posts > Add New Post from the menu on the left side of the page when in your dashboard view). This should open up the block editor where you will build your post.

Making your post:
The first line in large font size will be your title (always give your posts appropriate titles so viewers have an idea of what they are looking at). To start entering content into your post, you can begin typing where it says “Type / to choose new block” to enter plain text. Click the “+” icon or type “/” to select a block that supports media other than plain text (image, video, etc.).

Selecting appropriate category for your post:
To ensure your post shows up in the correct location on this website, you need to select the the correct category. To do this, you select “Post” on the settings menu on right side of screen. Scroll down to where you see “Categories” and select the appropriate category by clicking on the box next to it.

Adding a featured image to your post:
To add a featured image (kind of like the front cover of a novel), scroll down in the post settings menu until you see Featured Image. Click “set featured image” and follow instructions to upload your image from your local computer.
